Two Pumpkins of joy...
Halloween came and went so quiet this year. This weekend in Shohomish we toured the pumpkins of the town. Most were found gathered for a Sunday night meet and greet at the gazebo, I watched as JMH picked her favorite pumpkin.
Lobster dinner YUM!
Best place ever
If you are looking for a great dinner this is the place, The Lobster Shop. Driving there is tricky but worth the challenge. The restaurant looks out onto the South Sound, every seat in the restaurant has a fantastic view of the water, sunset and evening lights.
Being with the best friends in the world help too.

Arron's JV Team #1
As the summer feels the first cool evening the X-Country runners take to the streets, everyone knows this is the time to enjoy and the time to dread. For the next 3 months we live and breathe Cross Country. When the leaves turn and the wind blows the season comes to an end, as did Arron's third season of high School Cross Country. Arron and his team finished First place winning the Little Boy Trophy once again. Now only the Varsity continues on to State. Best wishes and light feet to all.

Bowie Helps
This past weekend Bowie sacrificed his weekend to labor with the K-men. He knew the 4 month long Jeep Project was behind schedule and was experiencing serious financial cost overruns. With his skillful assistance the K-men brought the truck to within one week of completion. New parts will arrive at anytime and the truck shall return to the roads. Stand by and watch out...
The world is a beautiful place
In some neighborhoods they simply toss away their trash. In SnoHo County we are self sufficient Green Friendly peoples. We don't need the big City government to buy us fancy art in every doorway, green spaces on every block or flashing lights that tell us when to walk or when to wait. We have a deep self respect for ourselves and the world, we drive environmentally friendly gas sipping cars, we recycle our house hold trash and know when to walk and when to wait before crossing a busy street. When it comes to art we recycle there too. For larger home repairs we reuse and brighten the community with our leftovers. A fine example of this can be seen near the curb along Broadway Avenue. A fine planter, complete with flowers was placed for all to see at the 4-way stop. The botanically artistic display was carefully placed for visual pleasure and functionality too. All this created at zero cost, not one penny expended by government saving our taxes for more important things.
* Update ... the planter has been stolen. I believe it is the government trying to destroy our self-esteem; I refuse to bend and expect to see another generous gift of art brought to us by the strong prideful community soon. Updates will follow as soon as I discover the artful placement of the next item.

Splish Splash this aint no bath...
Thursday the rain had past only minutes before and the puddles were ripe with cool clean nearly frozen water. The mud was soft and inviting as the runners foot applied the slightest pressure to it. This day was one of those great days to run. With practice only a Cross Country runner knows the opposing team can be covered in mud in 5 strides or less.
